The Chief Elections Officer announces that the use of a mobile phone inside the polling station by any person, other than the presiding officer, for communication with the concerned Returning Officer or Assistant Returning Officer is prohibited.
The presiding officer shall have the authority to remove from the polling place any person using his or her cellular telephone, and to order the arrest of persons who attempt to use their cellular telephones.
