The polls at all 1,857 polling stations operating in the Republic of Cyprus and Greece were temporarily closed at 12 noon. Voting will resume at 1 p.m.
Voter turnout continued smoothly without any problems.
According to available data, 25.4% of registered voters had voted by 12 p.m., while 19% had voted at the same time in the 2019 European Parliament elections and 23.8% in the 2016 local government elections.
