The Ministry of Interior announces that all citizens of the Republic aged 18 years and over who have their usual residence in Cyprus, as well as citizens of other Member States of the European Union who reside in Cyprus and are registered in the relevant electoral rolls, have the right to vote in the forthcoming elections of Members of the European Parliament and Local Authorities.
The last day for submission of applications is 2 April 2024. Therefore, interested persons are invited to apply for registration in the electoral rolls in time to be able to exercise their electoral rights. After the above date, no new registration and/or changes may be made to the electoral rolls.
Young people who will have reached the age of 18 by 9 June 2024, the date of the elections, i.e. those born on or before 9 June 2006, are also entitled to be registered on the electoral rolls. In this case too, the application must be submitted beforehand and in any case no later than 2 April 2024.
For citizens aged up to 25 years, applications may be submitted electronically, via the internet, through the election website at elections.gov.cy
Applications in paper form shall be submitted to the local offices of the District Administrations, the Citizen Service Centres (KEP) and the Citizen Centres (KEP) - Cyprus Post Offices. Application forms can be obtained from the above mentioned places, as well as from the Election Service of the Ministry of Interior and the website of the elections.
