The Chief Electoral Officer announces that the electoral booklets of the new voters, who were registered in the supplementary electoral rolls of 2 April 2024, have been prepared and forwarded to the Mayors of the Communities and Parishes, for receipt by the voters or their relatives.
The poll books will be received by the Parish Chiefs until Thursday, 6 June 2024, and will then be returned to the Offices of the respective Parish Chiefs, where they can be picked up by interested voters even on election day.
It is reminded that, in order to be able to vote in the upcoming elections, one must be registered in the respective electoral roll and, in the case of a Cypriot voter, present at the polling station either his/her voter's booklet or his/her identity card. Voters from other Member States of the European Union shall vote for Local Government Elections by presenting either a voter's booklet or the document on the basis of which they are registered on the relevant special electoral roll and for Elections of Members of the European Parliament by presenting the document on the basis of which they are registered on the relevant special electoral roll.
