The Chief Electoral Officer announces that the sample ballot papers for the upcoming elections of 9 June 2024 are posted on the elections website at www.elections.gov.cy, in the section European Elections - Candidates and Local Government Elections - Candidates.
So far, sample ballot papers have been posted for the elections of Members of the European Parliament, Presidents of Provincial Local Authorities, Mayors, Deputy Mayors, Municipal Councillors, School Board Members and Community Mayors. Within the next few days, the sample ballot papers for the elections of Members of Community Councils are expected to be prepared and posted.
Voters are invited to visit the website to familiarise themselves with the ballot papers in advance in order to facilitate the voting process on election day.
Voters are reminded that they can find out about the polling station(s) at which they will vote, the polling stations in which they are entitled to vote and the number of preference crosses in each of them by using the service "Where and What I Vote".
