The Chief Electoral Officer announces that the deadline for lodging objections to the nominations submitted on Wednesday, 24 April 2024, for the forthcoming European Parliament elections to be held on 9 June 2024 expired at 12:30 p.m. today, without any objections.
In view of this, all the nominations submitted have been finalised and will be included on the ballot paper.
The Government Printing Office is already in the process of preparing a draft of the ballot paper, which will be presented to the representatives of the combinations and individual candidates at 4 p.m. today for any comments and, once finalized, the Government Printing Office will be instructed to start printing it immediately.
