Today, 11 June 2024, at the Filoxenia Conference Centre in Nicosia, the ceremony of proclamation of the six newly elected Cypriot Members of the European Parliament took place.
The President of the National Popular Front (ELAM) Mr. Christos Christou, in his statement to journalists, said the following. First of all, I would like to thank the more than 40,000 people who gave us the strength to send a new MEP. We would like to stress that for our part, when we join the Party of European Reformists and Conservatives, we will do everything possible to defend the interests of the Republic of Cyprus. I wish Geadis Geadis, who is taking up his new duties, every success and make us proud. Thank you very much."
