The Chief Electoral Officer announces that in the forthcoming elections of 9 June 2024, citizens of other European Union countries residing in Cyprus are entitled to vote, provided that they are registered on the special electoral rolls for the elections of Local Authorities and Members of the European Parliament.
For the elections of Local Authorities, voters shall vote by presenting either an EU voter's booklet or the document on the basis of which they are registered on the relevant special electoral roll and for the elections of Members of the European Parliament, by presenting the document on the basis of which they are registered on the relevant special electoral roll. The document on the basis of which the registration was made may be an identity card of the Republic of Cyprus, an identity card of an EU Member State, an MEU1 form, a foreigner's registration certificate or a passport of an EU Member State.
Voters can find out about the polling station where they will vote, the polling stations in which they are entitled to vote, as well as the number of preference crosses, through the service "Where and What I Vote" which is also available through the elections website at elections.gov.cy, by entering the number of the document with which the registration in the electoral roll was made and the date of birth. Note that if the document number includes a hyphen, this is replaced by 00 or 000, so that the final number of digits in the document is ten.
Information on the polling station where one votes can also be provided via a mobile phone text message (SMS) by sending a message to 1199 and writing: wtv blank document number blank date of birth, e.g. wtv 1010111 01/06/1990.

It is noted that there is a charge of €0.04/message for the message sending service and €0.12/minute for the nationwide telephone number.
