The Chief Electoral Officer announces for the information of all interested parties that, in accordance with the provisions of Article 52(6) of the Law on the Election of Members of the House of Representatives, the provisions of which apply, mutatis mutandis, to the election of local government authorities, members of school boards and members of the European Parliament:
"Entities offering advertising services shall send to the Comptroller General of the Republic aggregate statements of the services offered to or on behalf of each candidate within one (1) month of the date of the election:
It is understood that, an entity that fails to act in accordance with the above shall be guilty of an illegal act."
Therefore, all entities that have offered or will subsequently offer such services to candidates and/or their supporting parties are urged to act in accordance with the above provision of the Act.
