The Directorate of Secondary Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ΔMTEEK) of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth (YPAN), in cooperation with the Cyprus Anti-Dependency Authority (CAA) and the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), organize an exhibition of artwork by students of the Preparatory Apprenticeship of the Vocational Education and Training Apprenticeship System (VETAS).
The exhibition will take place on Sunday, 26 May 2024, from 11:00 to 16:00, at Metropolis Mall in Larnaca.
The opening of the exhibition will take place at 12:00 and the event will be graced with the presence of Dr. Elias Markatzis, Director of MTEEK, Dr. Christos Minas, President of AAK, and Mr. Stelios Aristideou, Police Officer A', Commander of YKAN.
The Preparatory Apprenticeship Programme aims to offer the opportunity for teenagers aged 15-16 years old, who have not successfully completed their high school studies, to join an alternative learning structure. It is a flexible, innovative programme that prepares adolescents to develop specific knowledge, competences and vocational skills, providing them with the appropriate skills, either for further study in programmes offered by the formal education system or for integration into the labour market.
