[PIO] Digital Skills with ICDL Certification

The Centre for Productivity (KEPA) of the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance announces the implementation of a free training programme in Digital Skills with ICDL certification, which provides the opportunity to obtain the International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL) certificate after participation in a corresponding examination, which will also be offered free of charge.

The course is 24 hours long and will take place in eight 3-hour sessions on 18/06/2024, 25/06/2024, 02/07/2024, 05/07/2024, 09/07/2024, 12/07/2024, 16/07/2024 and 19/07/2024 from 9:00 am - 12:15 pm.

The programme will provide the knowledge and skills to:

1. Understand and use computational thinking techniques.
2. Creating algorithms for a program, using flowcharts and pseudocode.
3. Creating simple computer programs using the Python programming language.

The project is funded by the European Union's Recovery and Resilience Mechanism under the Cyprus Recovery and Resilience Plan.
