A delegation of the House of Representatives, consisting of MPs Ms. Kosti Efstathiou, will participate in the 67th Conference of the European Affairs Committees of the Parliaments of the Member States of the European Union (COSAC), which will take place in Paris, between 3 and 5 March 2022, as part of the parliamentary dimension of the current six-month French Presidency of the Council of the European Union (EU). The delegation will be accompanied by First Officer for International Relations Ms. Hara Parla and First Officer for European Affairs Ms. Evdokia Savva. Other topics to be discussed include an assessment of the achievements of the French Presidency of the Council of the EU, the Recovery and Resilience Plan, climate change and energy transition, as well as a discussion on the Conference on the Future of Europe.
During his stay in Paris, Mr Efstathiou will participate on Friday 4 March in a meeting of the Committee on Culture, Science, Education and the Media of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. As Chairman of the Subcommittee on Culture, Diversity and Cultural Heritage, Mr Efstathiou will present the priorities and main lines of action of the Subcommittee for 2022.
