The Council of Ministers at its meeting today, chaired by the President of the Republic Mr.Nicos Christodoulides, decided to appoint Mrs.Eugenia Christodoulou and Mr. Georgios Karatzias, both chartered accountants with extensive experience in the financial sector, to the positions of executive advisors to the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Cyprus.
The Council of Ministers also decided to appoint Mr. Kyriakos Stavrou, former Deputy Senior Director of the Central Bank of Cyprus, as a non-executive member of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank, replacing the resigned Mr. Angelos Grigoriadis.
At the same time, the Council of Ministers decided to appoint Mr. Kyriakos Stavrou, former Deputy Senior Director of the Central Bank of Cyprus, as a non-executive member of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank. George Loizou, a chartered accountant, as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Betting Authority, replacing Mr. George Diogenous, who resigned.
