[PIO] Cyprus Ports Authority meeting with PIO

The President of the Cyprus Ports Authority and members of the management team of the Authority, namely the Director General and the Director of Personnel and Administration, held a meeting with a delegation of the POC consisting of the General Secretary of the POC Ms. Mr. Nikos Grigoriou, the Organizing Secretary of SEDHHEK PEO Mr. George Epaminondas and the Secretary of the sectoral committee of SEDHEK PEO-ALK Mr.

The meeting took place in a very good atmosphere and during the meeting the vision and planning of the Authority was presented by the Cyprus Ports Authority, while individual issues raised by the Guild were discussed, mainly related to the upcoming commercialization of the Port of Larnaca and issues concerning the employees of the Cyprus Ports Authority.

The President of the Cyprus Ports Authority Dr. Antonis St. Stylianou stressed the fact that the Board of Directors of the Authority always acts with the promotion of the well-intentioned interests of the Authority as its main objective and that during the first six months of the establishment of the new Board of Directors, five meetings of the Joint Staff Committee of the Cyprus Ports Authority were held to deal with issues raised by the Guilds representing the employees of the Authority, which took place in a climate of full respect for labour regulations and understanding of the proposals of the employees of the Authority.
