The Honourable Members. Dimitris Demetriou (leader), Nikos Ketteros, Chrysanthos Savvidis and Elias Mirianthous, members of the Cypriot delegation to the Europol Joint Parliamentary Control Group (JPC), will participate in the 14th Meeting of the Europol JPC, which will take place in Ghent, Belgium, on 19 and 20 February 2024.
The keynote speaker will be the European Commissioner for Home Affairs, Ms Ylva Johansson, and there will also be a discussion with Europol's Executive Director, Ms Catherine De Bolle, on Europol's recent activities. Participating MEPs will also be briefed by the European Data Protection Supervisor on issues within his remit, while separate thematic debates will be held on the illegal arms trade and the fight against trafficking in human beings.
