MPs Ms Irini Charalambidou and Mr Kyriakos Hatzigiannis will travel to Copenhagen on Sunday to participate in a meeting of the Bureau of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), which will take place on 28 and 29 April 2024.
The Meeting will address issues relating more broadly to the future of the Assembly in light of the growing instability in the current international security environment. In addition, the Rapporteurs of the three General Committees of the Assembly, the Committee on Political and Security Affairs, the Committee on Economic Affairs, Science, Technology and Environment and the Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs, will present drafts of their Reports and Resolutions in view of the forthcoming OSCE CSO Annual Session.
The meeting will also address issues related to the functioning of the CSO. OSCE as well as the current and future activities of the Assembly.
