The Honourable Members. Dimitris Demetriou (leader), Nikos Ketteros, Chrysanthos Savvidis and Elias Mirianthous, members of the Cypriot delegation to the Europol Joint Parliamentary Control Group (JPC), will participate in the 13th Meeting of the Europol JPC, which will take place in Brussels on 20 and 21 September 2023.
During the meeting, there will be a discussion with Europol's Executive Director Ms Catherine De Bolle on Europol's recent activities and the Europol Planning Document. Participating Members will also be briefed by the European Data Protection Supervisor on the issues within his/her remit. The meeting will also include separate thematic debates on Europol's activities related to the war in Ukraine, the situation of organised crime in the European Union and the risk assessment on financial crime and corruption.
