The Office of the Commissioner for Gender Equality is pleased to announce the creation of parking spaces for families with infants and prams opposite the Town Hall of Latsia.

This action is the result of cooperation and consultation between the Office of the Gender Equality Commissioner and the Association of Municipalities. With the support of the Office of the Gender Equality Commissioner, twenty-nine municipalities are moving forward with an annual action plan for gender equality. The plan provides, among other things, for the creation of a breastfeeding room, adequate lighting in municipal parking lots and community-owned parks, strengthening the sense of security of citizens, especially women, especially in the evening hours, creating parking spaces in municipal theaters for families with infants and baby carriages, and facilities for infant care in men's restrooms.

Today we are pleased to see the action plan begin to be implemented, which includes projects and actions that will improve the safety and security of citizens and especially women.
