[PIO] Contract signing ceremony between SALA and Wade Adams Contracting (Cyprus) LTD for the construction of small sewerage networks

A contract was signed on Tuesday, 02/04/2024, between the Limassol - Amathus Drainage Council (LADC) and Wade Adams Contracting (Cyprus) LTD, the Contract for the construction of the Wastewater Sewerage System in specific urban clusters of the following areas, where for various reasons a sewerage system had not been constructed to date:

  1. Mesa Geytonia Area (MGS1) : Main Road to the Community and the green point of Fassoula
  2. Agios Athanasios Area (AATH1): Area around the church of Apostle Luke, Agia Marina and Agios Thyrsos
  3. Limassol Area (LEM1): Area east of the KEN Limassol Camp
  4. Germasogeia Area (GER1): Kalogira area
  5. Louki Akrita Street, in the area of Germasogeia (LAK)
  6. Griva Digeni Street, in the area of Ayios Tychona (AT1)
  7. Ilias Kannaurou Street (Kato Polemidia Municipality) (EK)
  8. Evros Street,

The contract was signed on behalf of Ayios Tychonas (AT5)

The contract was signed by the Mayor of Limassol and President of Ayios Tychonas Mr. Mr. Nikos Nicolaides, Mayor of Limassol and President of the City of Limassol and Mr. Haris Constantinou, Director of Wade Adams Contracting (Cyprus) LTD, on behalf of the Contractor.

The aim of the project is to connect the above urban areas with the Public Sewerage System, and envisages the construction of a network with a total length of approximately 13 km.

The value of the Contract amounts to €3.2 million plus VAT and is financed by SALA.

Construction works will start in May 2024 and are planned to be completed in 24 months.
