The meeting between President of the Hellenic Republic Nicos Christodoulides and King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan was concluded shortly after 1 pm in Amman.
The President of the Republic arrived shortly after 10 a.m. in Amman, Jordan and then proceeded to the Palace where he was received by King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein while a military contingent paid tribute. The national anthems of the two countries were played, followed by a private meeting between the President and the King. The President of the Republic - accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Constantinos Kombos, the Government Spokesman Mr. Constantinos Letibiotis, the Ambassador of the Republic to Amman Mr. Michalis Ioannou, the Director of his Diplomatic Office Ms Marilena Raouna, and the Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ms Salina Siabou - will return to Cyprus around 3:00 pm.p]
