The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Public Works Department, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that for the period 17/10/2023 - 31/1/2024, within the framework of the project "Road within Cheriou", and specifically the 6th phase of the works, a section of Strovolos Street will be closed from its junction with Hydra Street to its junction with Penteli Street.
During the above-mentioned phase, traffic coming from and going to Nicosia will be diverted to Penteli, Veria and Archiepiskopou Kyprianou streets.
For the above traffic detour there will be appropriate temporary signs, which drivers are advised to follow.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the inevitable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and compliance with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
