[PIO] Closed lanes on Makarios Avenue from the junction with Digenis Akritas Avenue to the junction with National Guard Street λόγ

The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Saturday 26/2/2022, from 05:00 in the morning until 22:00 in the evening of Sunday 27/2/2022, on Makarios Avenue from the confluence of the traffic lights of Digenis Akritas Avenue to the confluence of the traffic lights of National Guard Street, all lanes will be closed due to asphalt paving works. It is noted that upon completion of the above works, Makarios Avenue will be opened to traffic with its permanent arrangement, one-way in the direction of the city centre.

During the work, downtown-bound drivers are encouraged to use Kennedy Avenue to get to their destination.

The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and urges the public to show due understanding and to comply with the temporary road signs and police instructions.
