[PIO] Canada's Foreign Affairs Minister paid a working visit to Cyprus

Canada's Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly paid a one-day working visit to Cyprus yesterday, Monday, 13 May 2024.

During the visit, Ms Joly, accompanied by Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos, visited the Port of Larnaca. They then proceeded to the Zenon Coordination Centre, where they held extended consultations and toured the Centre's facilities.

The discussions focused on bilateral relations between Cyprus and Canada, the Cyprus problem, developments in relation to Ukraine, as well as the situation in the Middle East, focusing on the implementation of the Amalthea Plan to send humanitarian aid to Gaza through the maritime humanitarian corridor.
