The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that the Tenders and Contracts Division of the Department of Public Works, announced on 25 February 2022 a tender for the restoration of the Kepir Mosque in Limassol, with a tender submission date of 8 April 2022.
The duration of the project is 12 months, at an estimated cost of €1,309,000 including VAT. The Contract includes a 12 months Defects Liability Period.
The Project involves the maintenance/restoration works and additions to the existing complex of buildings that constitute the Kepir Mosque in Limassol and the construction of an auxiliary building with supporting functions to the Mosque at plot number 265 of F/Sch. 59/020202, Section 3, in Limassol (between Gentlemen Mitella and Zik-Zak streets).
It is pointed out that the existing complex is declared as a listed building, by Decree of the Minister of Interior, according to the Law on Urban Planning and Spatial Planning, and furthermore it is declared as an Ancient Monument of Table B, according to the Law on Antiquities.
