The Deputy Ministry of Shipping announces the launch of an open European tender for the Digital Transformation of the Deputy Ministry of Shipping. The project is co-funded by the European Union under Cyprus' Recovery and Resilience Plan (CRP).
The project aims to optimise the business processes of the Deputy Ministry by maximising operational efficiency based on three key principles:
1. Providing a one-stop service
2. Optimization and integration of processes: Business units and their processes should be integrated and complement each other through optimal and simplified processes and integrated software solutions
3. Operational and Functional Excellence: to provide reliable services in an efficient manner and with low operational costs, exploiting modern technological capabilities.
The main actions of the Competition include:
- Analysis of existing processes and their optimisation by exploiting the possibilities offered by the modern technological environment.
- Development of an information system covering all the main activities and processes of the Ministry of State.
- Provision of tools for intelligent monitoring, analysis and reporting. SDM 1/2022 are posted on the website of the Public Procurement Directorate of the General Accounting Office eprocurement (https:/www.eprocurement.gov.cy/epps/cft/prepareViewCfTWS.do?resourceId=5165010).
The deadline for submission of tenders is 7 March 2022, at 12 noon
