[PIO] Call for Applications (C2.1I4 / February 2024): Grant Scheme "Encouraging Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction in Enterprises

The Department of Environment informs the public about the Call for Applications under the Grant Scheme "Encouraging the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in businesses".

The Project is included in the Cyprus Recovery and Resilience Plan (CRP) and is funded by the European Union's Recovery and Resilience Mechanism (RRM).

The Scheme aims to provide financial incentives, in the form of a government grant, to encourage the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions through the submission of specific documents and studies and is addressed to potential Beneficiaries who are Large and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).

The grant intensity for Large Enterprises is 60% and up to €18,500, for Medium Enterprises 70% and up to €15,500 and for Small Enterprises 80% and up to €11,500 of the approved investment programme, and may cover costs related to the implementation of the following. [*]GHG Inventory Report for the Reporting Year (average 2022 - 2023). [*]GHG Inventory Verification Report for the Reporting Year (average 2022-2023). [*]GHG Reduction Action Plan providing for and forecasting GHGs for each action included in the Beneficiary's Action Plan until 2030. [*]Validation Report for each action included in the Action Plan until 2030. [/LIST]

The total amount available for the needs of this call is €5.000.000.

Please note that applications will be accepted from 29/02/2024 until 19/04/2024.

The relevant application forms should be submitted by registered mail to the Director of the Environment Department, 1498 Nicosia, with the reference "Application to the Grant Scheme to Encourage the Reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Enterprises", as provided in the Grant Scheme Implementation Guide.
