[PIO] Automatic transfer of data concerning the annual pensions of state officials/employees to their personal tax returns

The General Accounting Office of the Republic reminds retired state officials, employees and widows that both the amounts of their annual pensions and the amounts of deductions/retentions made from their pensions have been automatically transferred to the corresponding fields of the tax system (TaxisNet). Therefore, for the purposes of preparing their personal tax returns for the year 2022, they do not need to have at their disposal the salary certificates issued by the Republic of Cyprus (General Accounting Office of the Republic).

It is noted that in order to complete their personal tax returns, it is necessary to enter the following on the first screen of the return. - Social Security Number (SSN), - Date of Birth (YYYY/MM/YYYY), and - Gender (select "Male" or "Female").
