The Department of Fisheries and Marine Research of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that it is now accepting applications for Category C professional fishing licences for the use of a boat and shoulder net.
Category C professional fishing licences involve the use of 800 metres of nets with a boat and 25 metres of shoulder net.
Applications will be received from 7 February 2022 to 18 February 2022, at the local Provincial Units.
Applications may also be sent to the e-mail address ssavva@dfmr.moa.gov.cy, attaching all necessary documents.
Applications will be examined and approved in order of priority, in relation to the date of receipt of the application and provided that the criteria laid down by law are met.
Applications will be available on the website of the Department of Fisheries and Marine Research, www.moa.gov.cy/moa/dfmr from Monday 07/02/2022.
