1. Excavation and cable laying works in Ilia Kannaourou Street, Limassol

The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, and the Cyprus Electricity Authority announce that, during the period 21/3/2022 - 14/4/2022, at Ilia Kannaourou Street, a private contractor will carry out excavation and cable laying works for the needs of A.H.K.

During the execution of the works, the two southbound lanes of Ilia Kannaourou Street will be closed for approximately 300m, from the roundabout of Vertical Road/Pafos Street/Pafos Avenue/Leaf.

The Department of Public Works and the A.H.K., apologize for the inevitable inconvenience that will be caused and invite the public to show the necessary understanding and patience and to comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.

2. The construction works of the roundabout at the junction of Christakis Kranou Street and Daedalides Street, in Yermasogeia are continuing

The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, Department of Urban Planning and Zoning and the Municipality of Germasogeia announce that the construction works of the roundabout at the junction of Christakis Kranou Street and Daidalidon Street in Germasogeia are continuing as usual.

During the execution of the second phase of the work on the western part of Christakis Kranou Street, which will begin on 21/3/2022 and will last until 18/4/2022, traffic will be cut off in one direction of Christakis Kranou Street and traffic will be diverted to the opposite direction, which will operate with two-way traffic. Also, Daedalides Street will be closed to traffic and only residents will be allowed to enter.

3. Excavation works and laying of cables on the Zakaki - Asomatou road

The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, the Cyprus Electricity Authority and the Cherkez Community Councils, Asomatou, Zacakiou announce that during the period 21/3/2022 - 29/4/2022, on the Zacakiou - Asomatou road (E602), excavation and cable laying works will be carried out by a private contractor for the needs of A.The following regulations will be in force during the works:

  1. The section of the Zacakiou - Asomatou road, 500m long, will be closed by a private contractor. The section from the junction with the road to Trachoni to the junction with the new link road (extension of the New Generation road), will be closed and traffic from Asomatos will be directed through the new link road and towards Asomatos through the Zacaki - Trachoni road with the help of temporary traffic lights placed at the junction of the Zacaki - Trachoni road and the new link road (extension of the New Generation road).
  1. The northern part of Nea Genia Street, despite its junction with Zacakiou - Trachonios road, will be closed and traffic from Nea Genia Street to Limassol will be through the Vertical Road.
