1. Eworks for the reinforcement of rainwater manholes on the Larnaca - Ayia Napa motorway

The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that during the period from 23/2/2022 - 4/3/2022, between the hours of 08:00 - 15:00, every day except Saturday and Sunday, work will be carried out to reinforce the rainwater manholes on the Larnaca - Ayia Napa motorway near the 3rd exit to Xylofagou.

During the execution of the works, the express lane of the motorway will be partially closed for approximately 200m and traffic will be diverted to the slow lane of the motorway.

2. Asphalt paving works on Digenis Akritas Avenue, Nicosia

The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Public Works Department, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Saturday 19/2/2022, from 05:00 in the morning and until 12:00 noon on Sunday 20/2/2022, on Digenis Akritas Avenue, from the confluence of the traffic lights of Makarios Avenue to the confluence with the traffic lights of Gallipoli Avenue, asphalt paving works will be carried out. The above works will be carried out in two phases as described below. Drivers heading towards Pallouriotissa are advised to use Crete, Stasandrou and Androcles Streets. Drivers coming from Pallouriotissa to the Avenue. During the second phase of the works, the section of Digeni Akrita Avenue from its junction with Kallipoleos Avenue to Olympias Street will be opened to traffic, while all lanes will be closed up to the junction with Makarios Avenue.

The Department of Public Works apologizes for the inevitable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and to comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
