1. Asphalt paving works on Makarios Avenue, Nicosia

The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that on Saturday 29/1/2022, from 07:00 in the morning until 05:00 am on Monday 31/01/2022, on Makarios Avenue, from the confluence of the traffic lights of Aglantzia Avenue to its junction with Drama Street, all lanes will be closed due to asphalt paving works.

During the works, drivers heading towards the city centre are advised to use Armenia Avenue to get to their destination.

Drivers heading towards the exit of the city are advised to use Karpenissiou Street.

Drivers travelling on Kennedy Avenue and wishing to head towards the city centre are advised to use Karpenissiou Street and to use Agia Paraskevi Street for the direction towards Limassol.

2. Works on the central island of Australia Avenue, Larnaca

The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that during the period 31/1/2022 - 18/2/2022, between 07:00 - 15:00, daily except Saturday and Sunday, work will be carried out on the central island of Australia Avenue, in Larnaca, in both directions.

During the execution of the works, the express lane of the 200 m road will be partially closed. The Department of Public Works apologizes for the inevitable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
