1. Network development works on the Ayia Napa - Larnaca motorway

The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that on Sunday 8/10/2023, between 08:30 - 16:00, network development works will be carried out on the Ayia Napa - Larnaca motorway by a private telecommunications company.

During the works, the right lane of the motorway will be partially closed for a length of 1500m - 2000m, approximately, from the first exit to the third exit towards Xylofagou, in the direction of Larnaca and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane.

2. Forestry Department works on the Nicosia - Larnaca motorway

The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that from Monday 9/10/2023 to Thursday 19/10/2023, except Fridays and weekends, between 09:00 - 15:00, on the Nicosia - Larnaca motorway (A2), from the confluence with the Nicosia - Limassol motorway to the Lympion junction, the Forestry Department will carry out plant watering works on the central islands.

During the execution of the works, the adjacent traffic lane of the central island will be partially closed for a length of approximately 1500m at a time and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent traffic lane.

3. Concreting works at Platy Aglantzia

The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Public Works Department, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that on Thursday 5/10/2023 from 19:00 in the evening until 17:00 p.m. of the following day, concrete work will be carried out on the foundation of the Central Offices of the Department of Cadastre and Land Surveying, at the junction of Kyrenia and Acadamia Avenues in Platy Aglantzia.

During the execution of the works, the left lane will be closed locally at a distance of approximately 50 meters and traffic will be directed to the other lane.

The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to demonstrate the necessary understanding and compliance with the temporary road markings and the instructions of the Police.
