1. Road marking works
The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that from 21:00 on Monday 11/09/2023 until 05:00 on Tuesday 12/09/2023, horizontal road marking works will be carried out from the GSP roundabout to the "Good Evening" lights.
During the works, one lane will be closed locally for approximately 100 metres and traffic will be diverted to the other lane.
2. Sign installation works
The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Public Works Department, of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that, from Tuesday 12/09/2023 and for a period of two weeks, from Monday to Thursday between the hours of 9:30 - 13:30, on the Nicosia - Limassol motorway (A1) from the junction with the Nicosia - Larnaca motorway to the exit of Kofinou, work will be carried out to remove, transfer and re-install signs on the motorway in both directions.
During the works, the left lane of the motorway will be closed locally for approximately 100 metres and traffic will be diverted to the right lane.

The Office of the District Engineer, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that during the period 9/9/2023 - 15/10/2023, between the hours of 07:00 - 18:00, on the Nicosia-Lemesos motorway (A1) near Zygios junction and Choirokoitias-Kalavasos junction, as well as on the Nicosia-Larnaca motorway (A2) near Lybion junction, a private company will carry out surveying works on the junctions.
The surveying work will be carried out on the motorway shoulder without any impact on traffic.
The Department of Public Works invites the public to demonstrate the necessary understanding and compliance with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
