1. Green maintenance works by Strovolos Municipality

The Office of the District Engineer, Nicosia Department of Public Works of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that from Monday, 20/5/2024 until Friday, 31/5/2024, the Municipality of Strovolos will carry out green maintenance works on parts of the following roads in the Nicosia Urban Area from Monday, 20/5/2024 until Friday, 31/5/2024: "List (1). Kyprianou Avenue to the roundabout with the General Hospital of Lesia (20 - 22 May 2024, between the hours of 9:30 - 12:30), [/LIST]

2. Kyprianou Avenue to the roundabout with the General Hospital of Lesia (20 - 22 May 2024, between the hours of 9:30 - 12:30),

1. Kyprianou Avenue. Nikos Papamina from the roundabout with Ave. Kalamata to the entrance of Athalassa Park (23 - 24 May 2024, between 9:30 - 16:00).

2. Ave. Limassol from the junction with Limassol Avenue. Athalassa to Kostas Anaxagora Street (Saturday, 25 May 2024, between the hours of 7:00 - 16:00),

1. Ave. Limassol (old road) from the junction with Vergina Street to the junction with Limassol Avenue. Nikos Papamina (27 - 29 May 2024, between the hours of 9:30 - 12:30),

1. Ave. Limassol Avenue (old road) from the junction with Nikos Papamina to Athalassis Street (30 - 31 May 2024, between the hours of 9:30 - 12:30).

During the execution of the works, the adjacent traffic lane of the central island will be partially closed for a length of approximately 100 - 200m at a time and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent traffic lane.

The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Public Works Department of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that from Monday, 20/5/2024 until Friday, 24/5/2024, between the hours of 8.30 - 15:00, rainwater grating replacement works will be carried out on Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue, from the height of the roundabout of Cheriou Avenue towards Strovolos roundabout, for a distance of 200m.

The works will be carried out exclusively in the right lane and during their execution, the public is invited to show the necessary understanding and comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.

The Office of the District Engineer, Nicosia Department of Public Works of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Thursday, 23/5/2024, between the hours of 9:00 - 13:00, on the Kakopetria - Agios Nikolaos - Pinewood road (E938) from the junction with Agios Nikolaos Kakopetria road to the junction of Pedoulas - Prodromos road (E908) the exercise "Hephaestus 2024" will be conducted by the Forestry Department.

During the exercise, the road Kakopetria - Agios Nikolaos - Pinewood (E938) from the junction with Agios Nikolaos Kakopetria road until the junction with Pedoulas - Prodromos road (E908) will be closed. Traffic will be routed through the road Karvouna - Troodos - Prodromos (B9 & E910).

The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and compliance with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
