1. Lifting of retaining walls and cleaning of slopes in Limassol District
The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that during the period 21/5/2024 - 31/7/2024, between 07:00-15:30, works will be carried out by a private contractor company for the lifting of retaining walls and cleaning of slopes on a section of the Limassol - Agros road (E110), in Ch.During the above period, one of the two lanes of the road will be closed for a length of approximately 120m and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane with alternating traffic management with temporary traffic lights.
2. Maintenance works on expansion joints in Nicosia District
The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that on Thursday, 23/5/2024, between the hours of 21:00 in the evening to 22:30 in the evening, expansion joint maintenance works will be carried out on the Kalamon Airlift at Strovolos (A1 motorway, Nicosia - Limassol, Limassol - Nicosia).
During the works, the two lanes in each direction on the road on the Kalamon flyover (from and to Nicosia) will be closed alternately and traffic will be routed through the Kalamon roundabout.
The Department of Public Works apologises for the inevitable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show due understanding and comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
