[PIO] Announcements of the Department of Public Works for works in the Districts of Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca

The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Public Works Department, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Sunday 21/1/2024, between the hours of 06:30 and 16:30, work will be carried out on the installation of a construction crane on Kallipolos Avenue.

During the execution of the works, the right lane at the junction with Dinokratous Street and for a distance of approximately 100 meters will be closed and traffic will be diverted to the left lane.

The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that during the period from 22/1/2024 to 24/01/2024, between 09:00 to 15:00, work will be carried out to cut/trim and remove acacia and other trees from the embankments and slopes along the entire length of the Larnaca Airport - Ayia Napa motorway.

During the execution of the works, the left lane of the motorway will be partially closed and traffic will remain in the right lane as normal.

3. Asphalt road maintenance works in Limassol District

The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Thursday 18/1/2024, from 21:00 until 06:00 the following day, asphalt road maintenance works will be carried out on a section of the Limassol coastal road (B1) in the direction from Nicosia to Limassol near the light-controlled junction with Iakovos Tombazis Street.

During the works, one lane of the coastal road will be partially closed at any time for a length of approximately 200m and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane.

The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and patience and to comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
