1. Asphalt paving works in Nicosia District
The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Public Works Department, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that from Wednesday 10/1/2024 until Thursday 18/1/2024 (excluding weekends), from 8:30 to 17:30, paving works will be carried out on the road Lakatameia - Psimolofos - Kapedon (E902) X.Θ. 11+500 - 13+500.
During the works, one lane of the road will be closed for approximately 150m and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane (stop & go).
2. Works on the Nicosia - Limassol motorway in the Limassol District
The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that during the period from Wednesday 10/1/2024 to Thursday 29/2/2024, daily (except weekends), safety parapet repair works and installation of reflective nails / prisms will be carried out on the Nicosia - Limassol motorway, from Skarinou to Germasogeia.
The works will be carried out daily, Monday - Friday, in the section Skarinou - Akti Kybernitis, from 9 am to 4 pm and in the section Akti Kybernitis - Germasogeia during the night Monday - Thursday, from 21:00 to 05:00 the following day.
During the works, one lane will be closed at all times and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane with appropriate traffic signals. Also during the same period, safety parapet repair work will also be carried out on the highway shoulder without affecting any traffic lane
3. The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Saturday 13/1/2024 and Sunday 14/1/2024, between the hours of 6:30 and 17:30, work will be carried out by a private company on Gregory Afxentiou Avenue in Larnaca.
During the execution of the works, the section of the Avenue will be closed from its light-controlled junction with Vassilios Pavlou Street to its junction with Apostolou Varnavas Street and traffic will be directed to the adjacent lane with appropriate signage and the assistance of police officers.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and comply with the temporary road markings and the instructions of the Police.
