1. Construction of the Nicosia Perimeter Motorway Phase A1
The Nicosia Perimeter Motorway Project Engineering Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that from Wednesday, 3/7/2024 at 07:00, and for a period of one month, as part of the construction of the Nicosia Peripheral Motorway Phase A1, the junction of Productivity Road in the Industrial Area of Lakatamia with Cheriou Avenue will be closed.
During the execution of the works, traffic to and from the Lakatamia Industrial Area will be conducted through the light-controlled junction of Theofilou Georgiades Street with Cheriou Avenue.
2. Larnaca-Dekeleia coastal road closed
The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that, within the framework of the construction works of the project "Improvement of Larnaca-Dekeleia Coastal Road Phase C", from 3/7/2024 and for seven months, the Larnaca-Dekeleia coastal road, from the height of the Oroklini Fire Station to the Oroklini Organized Beach (Pavilion), will be closed to traffic in both directions.
During the execution of the works, traffic will be diverted via Galaxy Street to Oroklini. Drivers are advised to exercise caution.
3. Pavement control works on sections of the Paphos-Lemesos motorway
The Paphos District Engineer's Office, Public Works Department, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Thursday, 4/7/2024, between the hours of 8:30-15:00, pavement control works will be carried out on sections of the Paphos-Lemesos motorway (A6) on both lanes.
During the works, the fast and slow lanes will be partially closed and traffic will be diverted to the slow and fast lanes respectively.
4. Irrigation works on sections of the Limassol-Pafos motorway
The Paphos District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that from Wednesday, 3/7/2024, until Monday, 22/7/2024 (Monday-Thursday), from 08:30 to 15:30, on sections of the Limassol-Pafos motorway (A6) in both directions, over a length of 1.5-2 km. per day, irrigation works will be carried out by the Forestry Department at the central dividing island, for a total length of approximately 17.5 km.
During the execution of the works, the express lane will be closed and traffic will be directed to the slow lane.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and urges the public to show due understanding and comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
