1. Network maintenance works by CYTA on the old Nicosia - Limassol road
The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that from Wednesday 21/2/2024 until Thursday 29/2/2024, daily except weekends between 08:30 - 16:00 on the old Nicosia - Limassol road, CYTA will carry out network maintenance works on the old Nicosia - Limassol road.
During the execution of the works, part of one lane of the road will be partially closed locally over manholes 20m long at a time from the exit to Tochni to the exit to Psematismeno and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane.
2. The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Tuesday 20/2/2024, from 22:00 until 05:00 the following day,on the Limassol Bypass Road, in the section between the Yermasogeia roundabout and the Linopteras roundabout, work will be carried out to replace overhead information signs.
While the works are being carried out, the section of the Paracabrian Road between the Yermasogeia roundabout and the Linopteras roundabout in the direction of Paphos will be closed and traffic will pass through the Yermasogeia roundabout, Spyros Kyprianou (Kolonaki) and Agios Athanasios Boulevards and the Linopetra roundabout.
3. Replacement works on the Nicosia - Limassol motorway
The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Monday 19/2/2024 from 22:00 until 05:00 the next day, on the Nicosia - Limassol motorway, on the section Mouttayaka - Germasogeia, will be carried out replacement works of overhead information signs.
During the works, the section of the motorway between the Mouttayaka junction and the Yermasogeia roundabout in the direction of Limassol will be closed and traffic in the direction of Paphos will pass through the Mouttayaka exit, Ariadne Street, the Coastal Road and Christakis Kranou Street.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
