1. Closed part of Andreas Stylianou, Alexandrou Panagouli and Agios Savvas Avenues in the Municipality of Livadia due to an event
The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Good Friday 3/5/2024, from 20:30 until 22:00, part of Andreas Stylianou, Alexandros Panagoulis and Agios Savvas Avenues will be closed by the Municipality of Livadia due to an event.
During the above event, Andreas Stylianou Avenue, part of Agios Savvas Street, from the church to the roundabout, and part of Petrakis Kyprianou Avenue, from its junction with Andreas Stylianou Street to its junction with Agios Savvas Street, will be closed to traffic and traffic will be directed through adjacent roads with the assistance of police officers.
2. Closed part of Archbishop Makarios Avenue in the Municipality of Livadia due to an event
The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Monday 6/5/2024, from 17:30 to 00:00, a social event will be held by the Municipality of Livadia on part of Archbishop Makarios Avenue.
During the above Easter event, part of Archbishop Makarios Avenue from its junction with Ezecia Papaioannou Street to its junction with Agia Paraskevi Street will be closed to traffic and traffic will be routed through adjacent roads.
3. Replacement works of obsolete signalling equipment in the Limassol and Paphos Districts
The Department of Public Works of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that from 25/03/2024 the replacement works of obsolete signalling equipment by a private company in 47 light-controlled intersections and 31 Pelican type pedestrian crossings in the Limassol and Paphos area with a new type of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) with LED lamps, Pedestrian Countdown system and touch-type pedestrian demand system started.
Equipment replacement work at each location will be completed within one day, barring contingency. During the work, light-controlled intersections and pedestrian crossings will remain out of service. If necessary, temporary traffic lights will be installed.

4. Closed part of Larnacos Avenue in Ormideia due to an event
The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Sunday 14/5/2024, from 17:00 to 21:00, on Larnacos Avenue in Ormideia, a social event will be held by the Ormideia Community Council.
During the above event, Larnacos Avenue from its junction with Eleftherias Street to Ormedeia Park will be closed to traffic and traffic will be routed through adjacent roads.
5. Sewer system construction works in Larnaca District
The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that during the period 7/5/024 - 4/6/2024, in Makarios Avenue in Kiti, sewer system construction works will be carried out by a private company.
During the execution of the works, the section of Makarios Avenue from its junction with Achna Street to its junction with Piraeus Street will be closed from both directions and traffic will be routed through adjacent roads.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
