1. Larnaca Water Supply Board Water Supply Replacement Works
The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Tuesday, 05/03/2024, between the hours of 08:30-15:00, water supply replacement works will be carried out by the Larnaca Water Supply Board at Makarios Avenue in Aradippou.
During the execution of the works, the section of Makarios Avenue near its junction with Zalongou Street will be closed for a length of approximately 20m. from both directions (alternately), and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane.
2. Works under the "Road within Cheriou" Project
The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Public Works Department, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that, under the "Road within Cheriou" Project, the eighth phase of works is to be implemented from 05/03/2024 to 04/05/2024, and that the section from Trioni Street to K. Misiaouli will be closed. Drivers heading from Deftera to Nicosia, excluding heavy vehicles and buses, will use N. Kazantzakis, G. Xenopoulos and Strovolos via a temporary detour.
During the above period, on the date when the section of Strovolos Street, from the junction with K. Misiaouli Street to the ESSO petrol station, will be opened to traffic, drivers heading towards Nicosia are advised to use M. Karaoli, Omonia, A. Zakou, Salaminos, Pentadaktylou, K. Varnalis, Kouriou.
For the above traffic regulation there will be appropriate temporary signs, which drivers are advised to follow.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
