A. Works in Larnaca District
1. The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that on Friday, March 15, 2024, between the hours of 8:30-12:00, on Makarios Avenue in Larnaca, there will be cable pulling works in manholes by Cyta.
During the execution of the works, part of one lane of the road will be closed locally over manholes and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane.
2. The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that on Thursday, 21 March 2024, between the hours of 8:30-13:00, on Piale Pasha Street in Larnaca, maintenance work will be carried out on a pumping station by the Larnaca Sewerage Board.
During the execution of the works, the section of Piale Pasha Street from its junction with Athinon Street to its junction with Turkut Reis Street will be closed from both directions, and traffic will be directed through adjacent roads.
B. Works in Limassol District
The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that on Tuesday, 19 March 2024, between the hours of 9:00-11:00, on the Limassol-Pafos motorway, near the Avdimou exit, cable jointing works will be carried out by a private company due to a fault.
During the works, the express lane of the motorway towards Paphos will be closed for a length of 1km. The Department of Public Works apologizes for the inevitable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
