Pruning and cleaning of the side and central islands on A. Stylianou and Alexandrou Panagouli Avenues in Larnaca

During the period 27/11/2023 - 6/12/2023, between the hours of 07:30 - 17:00 daily except weekends, there will be pruning and cleaning works of the side and central islands on A. Stylianou and Alexandrou Panagouli Avenues in Larnaca by a crew/private person and the Municipality of Livadia.

During the execution of the works, on A. Stylianou Avenue from the Famagusta Avenue (American University) roundabout to the Livadia roundabout and on Alexandrou Panagouli Avenue from the Technical School roundabout to the church of St. Savvas, the lane adjacent to the works will be closed from both directions and traffic will be directed to the adjacent lane.

The landscaping/planting works of the central island, The landscaping of the central island, roundabouts and green lanes on both sides of the road connecting the Limassol-Paphos motorway to the New Port of Limassol (Vertical Road) continues as normal.

During the period 27/11/2023 - 22/12/2023, including weekends and from Wednesday 27/12/2023 until Saturday 30/12/2023, between the hours of 06:00 and 17:00, works will be carried out, during which one lane in each direction will be closed at any time for a length of 200 - 250 metres and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane. In addition, part of the cycle lane will be closed for approximately 300m and traffic will be on the shared use pavement.

The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that may be caused and urges the public to demonstrate the necessary understanding, patience and compliance with the temporary road markings and police instructions.
