1. Water pipe laying works on the old Nicosia - Limassol road
The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Public Works Department, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that on Wednesday 22/2/2023, on the old Nicosia - Limassol road, between the hours of 06:00 - 16:00, water pipe laying works will be carried out by the Water Development Department.
During the works, a section of approximately 50 meters of the old Nicosia - Limassol road, in front of the buildings of the Water Refinery of the Water Development Department, in Choirokoitia, will be closed and the traffic will be moved using traffic lights.
2. The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, the Forestry Department and the Police announce that on Thursday 23/2/2023, from 08:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m, traffic will be cut off on the road Trimiklini - Saittas within the village of Trimiklini for the felling of a dangerous large forest tree by the Forestry Department.
During the works, traffic from Saitas to Limassol will be routed through the villages of Agios Mamas - Korfi and traffic from Trimiklini to Saitta will be routed within the village of Trimiklini.
3. Maintenance/cleaning works of the drainage system on the central island of the Paphos - Limassol motorway
The Paphos District Engineer's Office, Public Works Department, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that from Wednesday 22/2/2023 until Friday 24/2/2023, between 08:00 - 15:00, on the central island of the Paphos - Limassol motorway (A6) in both directions, maintenance/cleaning works of the drainage system will be carried out.
During the works, the express lane will be partially closed and traffic will be diverted to the slow lane.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and urges the public to show due understanding and comply with the temporary road signs and police instructions.
