[PIO] Announcements of the Department of Public Works for road works in Larnaca District

1. Work on Cytamanholes at the light-controlled junction of Artemis and Faneromeni Avenues

The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 September 2023, between the hours of 08:00 to 15:00, at the light-controlled junction of Artemis and Faneromeni Avenues, work will be carried out on Cyta manholes.

During the execution of the works, part of one lane of the roads will be closed locally over manholes and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane.

2. The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, Department of Public Works, Larnaca District Engineer's Office, announces that from Monday 18 September 2023 until Friday 6 October 2023, daily except weekends, between 08:00 to 15:00, on Makarios Avenue in Kiti, on Independence Street, on Mykinon Street, on Pervolias Avenue, Archbishop Makarios Avenue and on Lighthouse Avenue in Pervolia, cable pulling works will be carried out in Cyta manholes.

During the execution of the works, part of one lane of the roads will be closed locally over manholes and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane.

The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show due understanding and comply with temporary road markings and the instructions of the Police
