High dust concentrations are currently observed in the atmosphere according to measurements taken by ground stations of the Air Quality Monitoring Network of the Department of Labour Inspection.
Because dust contains small inhalable particles that are likely to have a negative effect on human health, the public and especially vulnerable population groups (children, the elderly and the sick) are advised to avoid walking in open spaces until the phenomenon has passed.
Employers in accordance with the provisions of the Occupational Safety and Health (Code of Practice for the Protection of Persons at Work during Dust Incidents) Order 2022 (CPR 410/2022) must take appropriate measures (organisational and/or technical) after assessing the risks to their employees in open areas. Workers in such areas are recommended to use appropriate personal protective equipment.
For information, the latest hourly dust concentration values measured at 9:00 a.m.

Note that "dust" means respirable particulate matter in the atmosphere with a diameter of less than 10 μm (PM10). According to the relevant legislation, the limit value refers to the daily average value and must not exceed 50 μg/m3 (micrograms per cubic metre).
