The Project Engineering Office of the Nicosia Ring Road, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Friday, 26/7/2024 from 20:00 until Sunday, 28/7/2024 at 15:00, within the framework of the Construction of the Nicosia Perimeter Motorway Phase A1, works will be carried out to remove and resurface the Nicosia-Lemesos motorway in the direction of Nicosia.
During the works, all three lanes of the Nicosia-Lemesos motorway, in the direction of Nicosia, will be closed to traffic from the Alykos bridge to the Latsia weighing station.
Traffic from Limassol to Nicosia on this section will be diverted through emergency openings to one lane in the opposite direction, which will operate in both directions. The remaining two lanes from Nicosia to Limassol will operate normally.
The Department of Public Works apologises for the inevitable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and patience and to comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
