1. Works in Nicosia District
The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that the green maintenance works on the central islands, by the Municipality of Lakatameia, on sections of Makarios III Avenue, Pantelis Katelaris Street, Melina Mercouri Street and Agios Georgios Street, which were expected to be completed on Friday 16/02/2024, will be extended until Thursday 29/02/2024.
During the works, the adjacent lane of the central island will be closed in sections for a length of approximately 100 - 200m at a time. Traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane.
2. Works in Limassol District
The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Sunday 18/02/2024, from 05:30 in the morning until 06:00 in the morning of the following day, during continuous working hours, the section of Arch. Makarios C', from the light-controlled junction with Agia Zoni Street to the Enaerios roundabout in the direction of Enaerios, will be closed to traffic due to works by the Electricity Authority.
During the works, traffic to the Enaerios roundabout will be routed via Agia Zoni and Thekla Lysiotis Streets.
