The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Public Works Department, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that from Monday 19/2/2024 until Friday 1/3/2024, between 09:

1. The Municipality of Strovolos will carry out maintenance works on the green areas of the central islands of the following roads in the Nicosia Urban Area, every day, except weekends.

      5. Kamenas Ave. Limassol (old road) from the junction with Nikos Papamina to Athalassis Street (22-23 February 2024),
      6. Junction of Limassol Avenue (22-23 February 2024),
      7. Junction with Nikos Papamina (22-23 February 2024). Limassol Avenue (old road) to Vergina Street (23 February 2024),
      8. Limassol Ave. Limassol (old road) from the junction with Vergina Street to the junction with Limassol Avenue (23 February 2024). Nikos Papamina (26-28 February 2024),

      During the execution of the works, the adjacent traffic lane of the central island will be partially closed for a length of approximately 100-200 m. at a time and traffic will be directed to the adjacent traffic lane.

      2. Construction works of the new roundabout in Ypsonas

      The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that, within the framework of the construction works of the new roundabout in Ypsonas, the section of Ilia Kannaouros Street, between its confluence with Aegyptou Street and Agios Georgios Street, on Sunday 11/2/2024, between 05:00 am to 16:00 pm, will be closed.

      The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and patience and to comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
