[PIO] Announcement of the Presidency of the Republic

Mr Philip Hadjizaharias submitted his resignation in writing to the President of the Republic today for personal reasons.

The President of the Republic accepted the resignation and thanked Mr Philip Hadjizaharias for his services to the government and wished him success for the future.

Until the appointment of a new Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, the duties of the Deputy Minister will be performed by the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Mr. Alexis Vafeadis.
